Numbers in the senior Club meant that it was not possible to boat a 2nd VIII, and although this was attempted by including the Colts' oarsmen in the squad, unfortunately the flood conditions which prevailed for the whole of the first half of the Lent term and then WOH's unexpected concussion put paid to these plans. Out of the chaos BGN emerged to coach a keen but light 2nd IV through the �Head' season, but unfortunately injury and illness prevented them from continuing through the Regatta season. We look forward to a return to the days when the 2nd VIII can go at least as fast as their senior crew.
